We reused the original shelf but set it lower in the cabinet to make room for a 1 bottle horseshoe wine rack and a few decorations.  The small space left under the shelf is perfect for storing boardgames and playing cards.  And the original base cabinet holds about 10 bottles of your preferred spirit! Now all thats left to do is finish or paint to customer specs.

But when I apply the “fertilizer” to my garden, I don’t want to lose the worms that turned my garbage into something of value. So before I apply the compost to the ground, I harvest the worms and put them back in my worm bin (see picture below).

Right now, I don’t need the fertile worm castings, but come spring, I’ll use the them grow better food.
