MWCG goes to the Big Apple!
Today in the shop we are continuing work on a customers dining room table. The base frame which is pictured here will have casters on the bottom and feature one of our signature tongue and groove tops. The base was welded by Nick and we drilled 1/2” holes for the bolts so the customer can disassemble the table when needed. However, easier said then done, the frame destroyed three 1/2” drill bits by the time we had all 8 holes drilled.
The other project is a coffee table commissioned by a customer in NYC!! Thank you to my New York sales rep ; ) It is being constructed out of recycled oak restaurant dividers which feature a really cool beveled glass insert. The top is 3” thick reclaimed lumber with tons of dings, dents and character.
That’ll do for today, be sure to keep in touch and check out our website!!
